FOSTER CARE & ADOPTION

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

JAMES 1:27

Get involved

One of the ways we are called to share & show Jesus is by doing what we can to take care of kids in need through foster care & adoption. In 2024, there were over 6,000 kids in state custody, with over 1,000 of those coming from NW Oklahoma.

Many families in our church have adopted and fostered children, both in Oklahoma and from around the world. And we believe this is some of the most important kingdom work that we can do. Therefore, we want to be a church that champions this cause and helps equip families to step into this calling to care for children in need.

Other ways to help

We recognize that not every family is able to foster or adopt, but there are ways to support the families who can. If you would like to support families who are currently involved in foster care in Oklahoma, sign up to join the Care Portal.

Care Portal

111Project’s CarePortal network is an exciting collaboration that connects churches, agencies, and community partners around addressing the needs of hurting children and families.  This is done through a geographically based communication system that invites the local church and community to help. Opportunities on CarePortal include supporting children and families in crisis, foster care support, reunification efforts, adoption finalization, to assisting youth who are aging out.
